Campus Minister Position Available for Fall 2020: Paid Campus Ministry Internship
The Newman Catholic Student Center at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale is seeking a Catholic Campus Minister for a full-time, paid internship starting in July or August, 2020. The position lasts until May 2021 and is potentially renewable. The campus minister will work in collaboration with other staff and our Student Ministry Team to provide a comprehensive program of pastoral care, evangelization, discipleship formation, sacramental celebration, theological reflection, spiritual growth, leadership development, retreats, and service opportunities for undergraduate students. Precise duties can be customized to the interests and qualifications of the candidate.
Housing, medical benefits, and a salary of $1750 per month provided.
Baccalaureate degree or higher. Practicing Catholic with a commitment to missionary discipleship. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in working with a campus ministry program, and to those with experience in music ministry.
