Campus Minister Position Available for Fall 2020:  Paid Campus Ministry Internship

Job Description

The Newman Catholic Student Center at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale is seeking a Catholic Campus Minister for a full-time, paid internship starting in July, 2020. The campus minister will work in collaboration with other staff and our Student Ministry Team to provide a comprehensive program of pastoral care, evangelization, discipleship formation, sacramental celebration, theological reflection, spiritual growth, leadership development, retreats, and service opportunities for undergraduate students. Precise duties can be customized to the interests and qualifications of the candidate.

Compensation

Housing, medical benefits, and a salary of $1600 per month provided.

Requirements

Baccalaureate degree or higher. Practicing Catholic with a commitment to missionary discipleship. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in working with a campus ministry program, and to those with experience in music ministry.
